I have never been so obsessed with a piece of art! I am wondering if I have the original... It has a black frame and is painted on the wood. Also I was wondering if you have a back story for this piece? Oh and I noticed you sign some art differently like mine has ASpiers 2009 while others have Sanford and ASanford. Is mine maiden name? Yes, the original was painted on wood with a black edge. I painted this piece for a Walter Anderson art benefit in Ocean Springs. They host a gala every year to raise money for art and the museum. My maiden name is Spiers. My married name is Sanford. I am so happy to know this piece is in good hands! Thank you so much for taking good care of it!
